FOXBORO - School committee Chairwoman Martha Slattery plans to stick with students.
Slattery, who ran unsuccessfully last year for a seat on the board of selectmen, took out nomination papers to run for another three-year term on the school committee in the May 3 town election.
The longest-serving current school board member, Slattery will complete 12 consecutive years in May.
Slattery made headlines last year when she announced she would run for selectwoman with the intention, if elected, to serve simultaneously on both boards for at least the remaining year of her school committee term.
In other election news, Ernest Cataloni has decided to leave the planning board after 13 years when he completes his current term in May.
Incumbents taking out papers to run for re-election include:
Selectmen Paul Feeney and Lynda Walsh.
School committee members Katie Adair and Slattery.
Boyden Library trustees Jeffrey Lovely and Janet Pineault.
Town Clerk Robert Cutler.
Health board member Eric Arvedon.
Housing authority member Richard Hobbs.
Eleven of the 12 seats on the ballot are for three years; the housing authority is for five years.
Papers must be returned to the town clerk's office by the close of business on March 15.
