WALPOLE - With a plethora of errors and lack of timely hits, the Foxboro American Legion Post 93 baseball team fell to Walpole, 9-4, on Sunday.

Walpole jumped out to a 4-0 lead after five innings, despite collecting just two hits, as Foxboro couldn't get it together defensively. Walpole then added five runs on just four hits in the sixth inning.

Former Norton High standout Ben Hastings was the hard-luck loser on the Post 93 mound, allowing just six hits and four walks through six innings. Mansfield's John Garabedian had two of Foxboro's eight hits.

Post 93 (6-4-2) begins a slate of three straight home games in three nights with Norfolk paying a visit to Foxboro High School tonight.
